The Cure, Ronnie James Dio & Pantera inspire new Funko Pop! figures

The Cure, Ronnie James Dio and Pantera are getting the Funko Pop! treatment.

The toy company has announced a new Pop! Rocks line in its ever-popular series of big-headed vinyl figures. Among the fresh additions are tiny plastic recreations of Robert Smith and company, the Dio frontman and the “Walk” metallers.

The “Friday I’m in Love” singer reacted to the news in a typically Robert Smith way, tweeting, “gulp…” alongside a photo of his Funko self. Meanwhile, The Cure keyboardist Roger O’Donnell wonders, “I don’t know if this means we’ve been reduced or elevated?”
